From Field to Shelf: Produce Buyers Learn How We Grow Tomatoes

Bruce Rominger, left, speaks to a group of produce buyers and brokers from throughout the United States about tomato production practices. The group was on a tour sponsored by Woodland-based Pacific Coast Producers. a cooperative of which Rominger Brothers Farms is a member. The co-op produces canned tomatoes, peaches, pears, fruit cocktail and other products. During their visit, tour participants had an opportunity to pick ripe tomatoes and ride on the tomato harvester.​
